Rep. David Welter Runs as a Republican BUT Votes & Campaigns with Democrats!

Written by John Biver

In recent years Illinois has been experiencing fiscal and moral decay at an alarming rate. Leftist policies championed by the Democratic Party are the cause. Plain and simple. Voters unhappy with the state’s decline often look to the Republican Party to provide leadership to combat and reverse that decline. The problem is this — too many David Welter-like Republicans have been elected to office.

Republican State Rep. David Welter, who represents the 75th district which is centered in Morris, Illinois, and includes parts of Grundy, Kendall, LaSalle, and Will counties, votes with the Democrats on too many important issues.… Continue Reading

Republican Precinct Committeeman: The Power of the Office

This is the fourth article in a series about running for the political office of Republican Precinct Committeeman.

Written by John Biver

Phyllis Schlafly’s Eagle Forum website has a post titled, “The Most Powerful Office In The World Is NOT The President of the United States!

Hyperbole? You read it and decide. No one is arguing that ONE INDIVIDUAL precinct committeeman has more power than the president. But put together hundreds and thousands and tens of thousands of precinct committeemen, and every politician from the White House on down will know that they will be held accountable.… Continue Reading

State Rep. David Welter Needs To Hear From You

Written by David E. Smith

State Representative David Welter (R-75th Dist.) is promoting some town hall meetings next week in Morris, Plano, Wilmington, and Seneca so that he can “listen to your feedback, your questions, and concerns.” We thought you, a conservative pro-family voter in this district, should know how your local state representative has been voting in Springfield.

For a number of important reasons, we believe your local official, Rep. Welter, has failed us. (See this flyer for more information.)… Continue Reading

Pro-Life Groups Withdraw Support from Republican Senators that Supported the ERA

Written by John Biver

The leaders of six pro-life organizations issued a public statement on Friday criticizing the 8 Republican state senators who joined the Democrats this past week to pass the “Equal Rights” Amendment (ERA).

In the letter, the pro-life leaders mention that left-wing U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has admitted that the “intended scope of the ERA is to greatly increase the scrutiny of pro-life legislation.”

A vote for the ERA is a vote for overturning abortion restrictions and enshrining abortion rights in the U.S.… Continue Reading

Parents Decry Islamization in Schools Across U.S.

Written by Michael Haverluck

Pro-Islamic education is becoming a staple in public education from the Atlantic to the Pacific, where Islam is taught as a religion of peace, and those who do not embrace it as such are stigmatized as intolerant, bigots, haters or just plain ignorant – and some parents have had enough.

“In Florida … parents are protesting a newly approved textbook they say whitewashes Islam’s violent history of conquest and subjugation, while in San Diego, an angry father confronted the city’s school board about its partnership with the controversial Council on American-Islamic Relations [CAIR] in an ‘anti-bullying’ program,” WND reported.… Continue Reading

LGBTQ Lauds Jeb Bush’s Stand for SSM Ruling

????????????????????

Written by Michael G. Haverluck

Former Florida governor and prospective 2016 Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush might have moved himself further away from the conservative voters he’s been trying to woo by inserting himself in the middle of Florida’s recent courtroom chaos, urging Floridians to “respect the rule of the law” recently changed by a pro-“gay” activist judge to legalize same-sex “marriage.”

The ruling on same-sex marriage by Florida District Court Judge Robert Lewis Hinkle was interpreted this month by state officials as allowing the union that was formerly banned by Florida’s traditional marriage amendment, which protected marriage as only between one man and one woman.… Continue Reading

Conervatives Oppose Las Vegas GOP Bid

Written by Tod Gillman, DallasNews.com

Some of the heaviest hitters on the religious right are pressuring GOP leaders to cross off Las Vegas as a potential host city for its 2016 convention, warning that putting the next convention in Sin City will harm the party’s image and drive away supporters.

Dallas already pitches itself as a more wholesome alternative to Vegas, and the push-back could bolster the city’s effort.

The leaders sent a letter last week to Republican chairman Reince Priebus, putting him on notice that picking Vegas would generate friction.… Continue Reading
